What started in a Washington state shed turned studio, Modest Mouse has both indie cred and mainstream acceptance. A truly peculiar and one of a kind band, Modest Mouse consist of a vast variety of tuneful sounds, sporadic rhythms, and memorable guitar riffs with cryptic and provoking lyrics to make you think. Modest Mouse became a rock success story with their 2004 recorded album, Good News for People Who Love Bad News, rising to the top of the charts with popular singles like “Float On”,”Ocean Breathes Salty” and selling over a million copies. With 20 plus years of touring together and six studio albums, Isaac Brock and the gang are still musically evolving and fans are anticipating the band’s rumored sequel to the 2015 album Strangers to Ourselves.
From their previous shows on this tour, you can expect more than the radio hits and an extensive variety including most of their albums. Tickets for Fridays show at Whitewater Amphitheater are available here and parking is $15 (cash only).
