Last night’s Clutch show was by far one of the most powerful live performances Emo’s East has seen to date. Opening the show with “The Mob Goes Wild”, they definitely set the tone for a high powered, majestic performance and that’s exactly what they delivered all night long. Like a heavy weight boxer attacking the crowd with hit after hit, with songs such as “Electric Worry”, “Immortal”, and “Mice and Gods”. Just as expected, Neil Fallon put on a passionate vocal performance with the loyal Austin crowd singing word for word along with him.
And Just when you thought it was over, the crowd demanded more, chanting “CLUTCH … CLUTCH … CLUTCH” until a humbled Clutch returned to the stage. Even more amped up, they performed “SpaceGrass” and completely blew the Roof off ending the night with “Texan Book of the Dead”..!! Nothing more can be said about this show other than it completely kicked ass!
Before the show, we were very fortunate to get a 1 on 1 with frontman, Neil Fallon, which is posted below.
If you are going tonight, expect another face melting performance. Unfortunately, tonight’s show at Emo’s Red River is SOLD OUT… That’s unless you can find a way to sneak in! Until the next time…Happy Rocking!
